After banging hurdles and arms with next-door hurdler, Gail went from about fifth to second in the last couple barriers. Incredible. (Like Greg Foster in 1984.)

I chatted with Greg Foster outside press tent, and asked his reaction to Roger Kingdom's comeback attempt at age 41. Greg was nothing but gracious about the guy who stole his gold at L.A.

Carl Lewis promoted a track meet and signed autographs. Not a very long line for the legend. He again said he wasn't involved in Ben Johnson's bid for a Seoul reunion race.
