WAVA Vice President (Stadia) candidate

Jim Blair

Masterstrack.com wrote to both candidates for office -- the only contested election at the upcoming 2001 Brisbane General Assembly -- on April 4, 2001. The following reply from Jim Blair came April 14:

My apologies for not replying sooner -- time is at a premium these days.

The president and WAVA Council are very well aware of my work and performance as vice president Stadia and, as a result, have submitted my nomination for a further term in this role.

In addition, the WAVA Stadia Committee, the various WAVA affiliates, their delegates to the General Assembly, the administrators, the officials and, most importantly, the athletes are also well aware of my performance and commitment to the athletes and to WAVA.

I therefore feel that (it) is unnecessary for me to respond to the various matters that you have raised.

Regards
Jim.
